Cosmic Worldbuilding – Alien Races and Intergalactic Conflict

Part of the extraterrestrial universe in my comic, this worldbuilding project explores a vast galaxy filled with powerful alien races and complex political dynamics. At the center are the Detonians, the physically strongest race in the universe—towering, muscular beings who inhabit the planet Deton. Known for their brute strength and resilience, they are now under siege by the cunning and technologically superior Meku—a feared, mischievous race notorious for conquering planets in pursuit of power and resources. The Ogrids, a durable but less intelligent race with immense stamina and strength, are enslaved by the Meku to aid in their relentless expansion. This conflict between raw power and technological dominance is a central theme in the visual development of my alien world.

Detonian Race

The Detonians are a long-lived, physically dominant alien race, known as the strongest beings in the galaxy. Their matriarchal society mirrors a beehive—ruled by 2 to 6 Queens per nation, each seen as a sacred mother rather than a monarch. Females are larger and hold the highest rank, while males serve as protectors and providers. The Queens share one Husband, leader of the royal army. Detonian culture values strength, honor, and emotional discipline, with motherhood revered as the highest form of power. Their world blends brute force with spiritual tradition and unwavering loyalty to the maternal bond.

Meku

The Meku are an ancient, highly intelligent alien race known for their mischievous nature and thirst for power. Masters of manipulation and strategy, they collect and repurpose advanced technology and weaponry from across galaxies to maintain their dominance. Technologically superior and immensely wealthy, the Meku live in opulence and luxury, ruling through fear, cunning, and relentless ambition.

Meku War Mechs

To rival the unmatched strength of the Detonians, the Meku engineered massive war mechs, built with advanced alien tech and brutal efficiency. Designed specifically to combat Detonian warriors, these machines are the Meku’s answer to brute force. Meku seek to conquer Deton and wipe out the Detonian race, believing no species that powerful should be allowed to exist.

Ogrids

The Ogrids are a peaceful, non-confrontational race who live in harmony with nature. Though not as intellectually advanced as other species, they possess incredible strength, stamina, and endurance. Clad in simple garments made from grass and animal hide, they lead humble lives rooted in the natural world. After the Meku invaded their planet, the Ogrids were enslaved and now serve as laborers—forced to build and assist in Meku conquests. Despite their immense power, the Ogrids remain kind-hearted and resilient.

A concept piece from a narrative-driven worldbuilding project set in a post-Earth future. After humanity abandons Earth in search of a new home, a crash landing on a mysterious alien world leaves only a man and a child as survivors. While protecting the child, the man unknowingly kills a native creature—only to realize it was a baby, sparking the wrath of its mother. The story unfolds as a heartfelt tale of survival, protection, and unexpected parenthood, with the man doing everything he can to care for the child while evading the relentless alien mother across a strange and dangerous world.
